We are a local Rock n Roll cover band playing the deep cuts, the faves and a few “HOLY CRAP I LOVE THAT SONG!”

Whether you are into classic rock or just having fun, music communicates to us in a way that surpasses any difference in culture.

LEAD ASSASSIN Scott Hamilton

Band and drama nerd in High School. Then nada…. Started singing with a fun Karaoke Band about 10 years ago and now I front this fun and lethal group. I love our high energy and my love of music keeps me going. Watch out, I like to dance and get our audience involved in the show!

GUITAR ASSASSIN Matt Baker

Hello, my name is Matt Baker. I am a lifelong guitar lover; with growing up in the 70’s and 80’s, how could you not be, right? First and foremost, I am a loving husband, father and papaw. I am getting close to retirement, so rocking out is becoming a great outlet for my later years. My interests are many: fishing, cooking, gardening, woodworking, and more, but my first love was always music. So come out to a show and rock out with us!

GUITAR ASSASSIN Bryon Kintz

I’ve been playing guitar since I was 14. Had many fun times and great memories because of it! Started learning songs from Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, John Denver, and Bob Seger.  Etc. I used to do open jams at my friends house in jr sr. High school.  Got lots of experience doing that. This band has been awesome to be in! We have all become good friends and had some great experiences.

KEYS ASSASSIN Mark Luhdorff

I’ve been playing piano since I was three. Playing keyboards in a band began in middle school with the singer’s sales pitch “Ya know, you can get girls!” While that was true, the joy of playing and composing has also kept me sane over the years. Oh, and yes, now happily married!

BASS ASSASSIN Todd Goettelmann

I’ve been playing bass since I was 19. My band, Hades Preyer played locally around LA in the early 90’s. In 1993 the band moved to Amsterdam and toured Europe for over a year. After college I moved back to California to raise a family start my career. I met Rich at Weekend Warriors in 2021 and joined the Character Assassins right away.

PERCUSSION ASSASSIN Rich Kluessendorf

I started music by playing trombone. That was my primary instrument into college, but it is the drums I continued playing into adulthood. I have played in small bands for years, but then put my focus on coaching my three kids in soccer and baseball.  After years of coaching I got back into drumming.  I’ve been with Character Assassins since the start in 2019. I enjoy all genres of music and playing with CA is an enjoyable outlet from my accounting career.
